Booklist Review
Not for dieters, Always the Baker Never the Bride by Sandra D. Bricker attacks the taste buds and heart and doesn't let go. Throughout this delightful romantic comedy, you'll laugh and cry with characters you feel like you know. Close your eyes, and you just might be able to taste the award winning creme brulee wedding cake that almost becomes one of the characters in the story.

Though the characters are memorable in their own rite, it is the witty dialogue and exemplary prose of this book that are so unforgettable. Within the pages of this devourable novel is a story readers won't be able to put down until they've tasted every last delectable page.

T H E R E V I E W B O A R D Love Finds You in Holiday, Florida: I absolutely adored Lucy, fell in love with Matt, wanted to claim all the members of the singles’ group as my new best friends, and am ready to plan a vacation in Snowball. I couldn’t put this book down. Light and fun, with gems of truth sprinkled throughout, this is a quick read and a great story. I enjoyed every paragraph. I got this book yesterday at 2 p.m. and had completely devoured it by 1 a.m. I laughed out loud and even, at times, had tears from laughter rolling down my face. This is one of the best I have read in a while.
The Big 5-OH!:
Sandra D. Bricker has a wonderful sense of humor and knows how to incorporate it into a novel. A fun, easy read, it will keep you laughing and smiling all the way to the end. The development of characters was great, their conflict and interaction is fun to read and sizzled from the page. It's an upbeat read that will leave you cheering until the last page is turned, I loved every moment! Highly recommended!
